Angela Zarek is the founder and sole owner of AMZ Clinical Massage LLC. She has been private practice since 2006 in in Boston.
Angela also brings over 20 years of healthcare experience and knowledge to her practice. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to work with various Olympic athletes, Iron Man and Elite Crossfit participates, marathon runners/ triathletes as well as professional motor sport teams.
Angela is a licensed Clinical Massage Therapist in the state of Massachusetts. She maintains a board certification by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) and is a Certified member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP). She received her massage training through Soma Institute: National School of Clinical Massage Therapy in Chicago, IL.
Since graduating she has continued to maintain her education and currently has over 900 hours of training in Clinical Massage and bodywork. Her training includes deep tissue techniques, sports massage, Active release techniques, Neurokinetic Therary, Amino_Neuro Frequency Therapy, PNF stretching, Myofascial release, structural integration, injury rehabilitation, lymphatic drainage using ANF DISCS, neuromuscular reeducation, Kinesio Taping, Pregnancy Massage, Thai Yoga Massage, Cupping, and Gua Sha.
Angela specializes in solving pain complaints with clients. Using a unique blend of Integrative health therapies in combination of manual muscle techniques. She focuses her work to decrease pain and inflammation while working toward postural alignment, muscle balance, and optimal movement to help each client achieve their specific goals.
Elizabeth “Libby” McCann
Libby has been a licensed massage therapist in Massachusetts since 2016.
She currently works in a women’s gym where her practice focuses on therapeutic massage, range of motion improvement, injury repair, sports massage and maintenance. Her style is a blend of traditional therapeutic massage, Thai, stretching and traction. She is certified in Thai, cupping and is trained in gait analysis.
Libby has also recently completed 2 years of pre requisite work and applied to the Northeastern Physical Therapy program. She hopes to begin her education for physical therapy in June 2021.
Libby is a seasoned rower of 20 years, and has completed 12 marathons in the last 8 years. She has a background in strength and conditioning.
